We are currently in interregnum which means we are looking for our new vicar. As a team we work together to ensure that Christ Church is a place to belong. We hope that everyone that joins us at Christ Church will very soon feel part of the family and find that Christ Church is their place to belong.
CHRIST CHURCH MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission at Christ Church, through faith and fellowship, is to use all the resources of our church family to make the gospel known to everyone, of all ages.
This means that we will always focus on Jesus, we will always be a welcoming church, open to God and one another where everyone is valued and we will constantly reflect, evaluate and develop to build a sustained ‘home’ community which reaches out into the wider community with love.
To achieve our mission at Christ Church we will nurture faith through worship, prayer and bible study. We will continuously love, support and understand everyone with sensitivity according to their own needs. We will welcome and affirm gifts that we, of all ages and abilities, have to offer to enable us to serve God together with joy.
We will also encourage and enable the church family to reach out into the wider community with love and hospitality. We will manage the resources of the church for the good of all by effective leadership and we will encourage guests of all ages to have fun and work together. By doing these things we will achieve our mission.
Our vision is for Christ Church to be a church in Stamford that shares Jesus’ love in our community; a beacon of hope where lives are changed.
There are always plenty of activities, group and events taking place at Christ Church Stamford. In everything that we do there is a chance to make friends and to get involved at our church and in the community if you wish; while feeling that Christ Church in Stamford is a place to belong, for you.
We really hope to see you at a service or an event soon; and if you have any questions please feel free to contact us via our Contact Page, Facebook, on the phone, or just pop in.
