King's Café is a family service in a relaxed and informal café setting held in the Basement and other local primary school halls for an hour or so on a Sunday morning, offering a friendly environment to learn about Jesus Christ.
It is a meeting place where people feel cared for and are presented with the Christian gospel in a lively and non-threatening way. Up-to-date technology is used to make each café a fun and exciting experience and free drinks, doughnuts and live music are all provided.
The new venue in the Basement (part of the Access and Learning Centre) is proving to be a big hit and this space lends itself well with a proper 'café' atmosphere. Our usual families and children from the Bluecoat School come along. This is always preceded by an Assembly for the whole school which The Revd Bob Mackrill takes on the Thursday morning prior to the café.
